SGDC is proud to host the first British Qualifying Event of the new year, and also the first day-night BQE. Please join us under the floodlights for flying, fun, and the usual shenanigans at our home here at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex.
SUNDAY 4th FEBRUARY | 1pm – 9pm
This Winter BQE was previously going to be held on Jan 28th – 2024, but has moved due to a scheduling conflict.
Our BQE is open to pilots of all abilities so you don’t have to be a top racer to take part and have a good time.
You can fly any FPV racing drone, it doesn’t have to be a 5 inch race drone (but we would recommend it) you can fly your freestyle rig or even a toothpick and anything up to 6s – Just check it conforms with the BDRA technical specs .
We are limiting this event to 30 pilots to ensure that everyone can get in a good amount of flying and qualifying rounds.
