2024 FAI World Drone Racing Championship Hangzhou China

The much-anticipated 2024 FAI World Drone Racing Championship is set to make an exciting return to China. This thrilling event is scheduled to take place in Hangzhou, over four days spanning from Thursday 31 October to Sunday 3 November 2024.

The world’s primary Drone Racing competition will once again witness the sport’s top pilots vying for the coveted title of World Champion across the Overall Individual, Junior (under 18), Women and National Team categories. The event will also feature substantial prize money for the winners.

Our team is composed of four incredibly talented pilots who are ready to take on the world:

King Joshy

Joshy isn’t just the fastest Junior; he’s the fastest across all categories. With more podium finishes than anyone else, he’s the one everyone is trying to beat. Having represented Team GBR in Korea 2023, Joshy is well-versed in high-level competition and always ready to rise to the occasion.

Danbuster

Dan’s rapid ascent from novice to podium regular in less than a year is nothing short of remarkable. With his meteoric rise, he’s definitely one to watch in China. As a new addition to the team for 2024, Dan is set to make his mark on the global stage.

Carb_

Dan is a technically skilled pilot with a knack for fine-tuning drone performance, always finding an edge over the competition. Known for his fierce competitiveness, he made an impressive comeback in 2024, quickly clinching 1st place at his first event against a strong international field.

KnightHawk

With his cool composure and precise control, Owen is the team’s tactical expert. Over the past six years, he’s consistently finished at the top. Having competed for Team GBR in Korea 2023, Knighthawk is well-acquainted with high-level competition and continues to be a formidable force on the track.

KPV – Team Manager

Karl is a highly accomplished FPV pilot with a seven-year racing career and three National Veterans League titles to his name. Although he narrowly missed qualifying for Team GBR for the second consecutive year, his experience and expertise remain invaluable.

Beyond competing, Karl has been instrumental in organising events at all levels, from grassroots competitions to elite international tournaments. His leadership and commitment make him an indispensable asset to the team.
